HammerPants

It was a blisteringly hot Sunday afternoon, the jeans didn't help, but the peach did. I love these pants and couldn't wait for a cooler day to troll around the neighbourhood in them.
It is a long way down to smell the flowers; good thing I found some tall ones.
These jeans are so comfortable and yet are much more slim fitting than the regular 'boyfriend' style. The shoes are actually comfortable as well, I have worn them to work on occasion and have survived 9 hour days! Pretty impressive I must say!
John dared me to try and hide behind the tree. That photo did not make the cut as it made me look like a giant monster.

Canada Day/New Camera

My birthday was June 30th and my lovely parents gifted me with a new big-gal camera! Luckily the day after my birthday is Canada day, so I had an excuse to try 'er out!
Trying out some of the features on John.

A nice leisurely stroll after the Canada day festivities (aka grabbing last call breakfast with friends at the Pump as the local parade was coming to a close).
Every Canadian gal is entitled to twirling in the sun (we don't see very much of it here in the north!)

(Dress) Zellers, (Sandals) H&M
This is how Casey spends practically every day - rubbing his ears and body along the ground and I just like being near my little poodie!

Until next year Canada!

Clip-ons

When I was a child all I wanted was to get my ears pierced. There was only 1 thing in my way - my parents had the stipulation that in order to get my ears pierced, I fist had to learn my timetables all the way up to 12. This may seem simple enough, but I never fully learned them and even now after graduating university I still struggle with the 8's and 12's.
I found these beautiful clip-ons at a local flea market. A lovely old lady was selling what seemed to be her old jewelry, unfortunately I decided not to purchase the matching broach.
When I saw them I knew they were the perfect accessory for my flowery summer dress.
